Attorney Richard Valle
Born in Long Island, New York of Puerto Rican parents, Richard Valle fought many of life’s
challenges at an early age. At six years old he became “the man of the family”, at the age of
eleven he was washing dishes at a local Diner and in 1984, after graduating from High School he
enlisted in the USMC before his 17 th birthday.
Richard Valle was recognized for his outstanding service while in the USMC where he was
meritoriously promoted and received numerous awards. He was eventually injured and medically
discharged. He is now a 100% Total & Permanent Disabled Marine Veteran.
After his honorably discharged from the Marines, he enrolled at Suffolk Community College and
eventually transferred to Universidad Interamericana de Puerto Rico. Richard graduated Magna
Cum Laude and earned two degrees, a BA in Business Administration and a BBA in Accounting.
Right after this, he returned to New York to attended Albany Law School.

veterans who helped him during his most vulnerable times. Together with the Stratton VA
Medical Center, Mr. Valle gathered volunteer students and a pool of attorneys to help over 100
veterans. In 1997 the Albany Sun Times recognized the Clinic for its service to the community.
After Law School he returned to Puerto Rico where he met the love of his life. Richard and
Elizabeth have been married for over 15 years and have a total of three children. They relocated
to Central Florida in 2002 after falling in love with Orlando while vacationing there in 2001.

Scherr as an associate to start their Litigation Department. Attorney Valle’s desire to help his
citizen lead him to leave the lucrative firm and join the State Attorney’s Office. After 18 months as a prosecutor he decided that the best way to help the public and protect their rights
